Silesian Open Judo Kata is a key regional sporting event dedicated to popularizing the technical form of Judo Kata. The competition fosters the integration of the judo community from various parts of the country and abroad, placing a special emphasis on educational values, discipline, and the technical precision of the participants.

The tournament takes place in Tarnowskie Góry - a historical city with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

Participants have the opportunity to visit monuments inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, making the trip to the tournament an attractive tourist excursion as well.

The city is excellently connected with the rest of the country and abroad. The competition venue is located just 20 kilometers from Katowice-Pyrzowice International Airport (KTW), ensuring convenient access for competitors traveling from distant cities and from overseas.
